PPCS is an excellent school because it has the practices that lead students to success. It also has many outdoor activities referred to as Adventure Fridays. These allow kids extra time to become closer to their classmates. The teachers are very nice to everyone and very patient as well. The office staff are always ready to help. PPCS also makes sure that kids are aware of bullying and the effects on others it can have. They teach kids how to address it. Truly a great school!

I have two students at PPCS, and we have enjoyed most of our time there. Palouse Prairie uses an Expeditionary Learning model, giving the students a ton of real-life, hands-on connections to the curriculum they're learning. I'm constantly impressed by how informed and aware of both local and global issues my kids are, and the school gives them frequent opportunities to build confidence in their ability to make the world a better place. The current location isn't great, but there is a new facility being built, with the how to move in this Fall, and it sounds promising. Unfortunately, as an independent charter school with a tiny budget, there are no art, music, or drama programs, and the school lunches come from off-site, due to lack of a kitchen. This is still a young school, and I hope it continues to develop into the vision our community has for it. Overall, I think that although it has some weak areas, it's the best school for my kids.
While the teachers are average, the school building is the opposite of nice and each class has about 15 students which isn't good socially
