There’s none better than PSA. Its mission is to provide an accelerated academic environment for students who are academically gifted. PSA is very engaging. Most coursework applies to real-world events and life skills. PSA also has a warm community that is just like family. It's clear that the faculty truly wants us to succeed. Most of the teachers are also academically gifted and experts in their field, so we learn from the best! Another perk is that since the curriculum is accelerated, all graduates finish all required high school work by the first semester of 11th grade. After, students take real college classes through local colleges that PSA partners with. Many teachers at PSA are qualified to teach college classes, so they also teach some. I graduated high school with 22 college credit hours and academic honors, which was all built into PSA's curriculum! If you want an amazing high school experience, academic challenges, and a heap of college credit, apply to PSA today!

In eighth grade, I was a student at Palmetto Scholars Academy during its first year. I only stayed for the one year because everything was still very disorganized. Most of the teachers were fantastic, but a couple were an extreme disappointment. There was no athletic or art department. It was all still very new. It needed time to grow and improve. If I had been in sixth grade at the time, I would have stayed because it was a great and challenging little community for middle school students, but I needed to attend a more established high school. I wanted a place that offered honors courses, AP courses, competitive sports teams, and an art department. Since leaving, I have heard pretty good things from students who stayed (especially younger ones). It seems to have steadily improved over the years, which is great!
Palmetto Scholars Academy is a school that has a caring community and environment, many honors classes, and great teachers. It gives its students a head start by dedicating their senior years to college classes as well as a senior project, which gives students more freedom and experience in their desired fields than typical high schoolers. I have enjoyed my four years at Palmetto Scholars and would recommend it to anyone with a good work ethic.
