I attended Palmetto Christian Academy my Junior year of high school. The academics and staff at PCA are great - the teachers are very approachable and work with you to help you understand. However, this school is also very exclusive and legalistic. A more apt and common way to describe this school would be "snobby". The demographic is small and almost completely wealthy and Caucasian. To be admitted to the school, you have to be a Christian and tell your testimony. One day every week all females in the school must wear a skirt or a dress. I have nothing against Christianity, but I believe these rules had only to do with the outward appearance and not inward convictions.

Palmetto Christian Academy is a school with solid morals and teachers who love their students. However, due to the lack of resources the school has trouble making kids dreams come true. The athletic facilities are small and the course offerings are extremely limited. However, the courses that they do offer prepare you for college in many ways. Palmetto Christian academy may be small, but it does a excellent job with the sources it does have.
After 14 years at PCA, this school has become my second home. I have developed relationships with friends, teachers, and coaches that I will never forget. Also, I have a strong Christian foundation that I will continue to build on for the rest of my life.
