Service Learning

We encourage this level of involvement in service not only for its intrinsic value, but also because community service increases students' self-esteem, reinforces academic skills, provides career and occupational direction, teaches about real-world problems and solutions, develops leadership skills, encourages a feeling of empathy for others, and builds a broader community.
