My experience at Palm Bay Magnet High School has been amazing! I love how the teachers interact with their students and even offer tutoring before school, after school, and during lunches. The administration and faculty do a wonderful job at making sure all educational needs are met in our school by providing every student with guidance counselors that make sure all requirements to graduate are being met. Something that I would like to see change at my school would be an increase in goal orientated students who, aspire to have a higher education. Having this would make it easier for our teachers to have less student distractions and more time to teach important material.
I loved my time at Palm Bay Magnet High School, the school is overflowing with opportunities to be involved. There truly was a program for everyone, I was a part of the AVID program, which even introduced me to my dream college. The staff cares about their students and wants to see them achieve their goals, so they work with each student. This school shaped me into who I am today and taught me how to enter the adult world efficiently.
The school has some of the greatest and most helpful teachers I've ever had. They're willing to help you with almost anything if you ask nicely. I've had teachers give me great advice about my classes, college, and other things. There are a lot of extracurriculars and activities to do after school, especially with friends.
Only two languages are offered at this school so it may be a little difficult to finish a two-year foreign language requirement. My counselor is super resourceful and knows exactly what they're doing.
