Anarchy. By 12th grade, both my sons were high every day and stopped showing up to school except occasionally, NO ONE CARED. Because my boys are "cool" their DEANS would mark them excused--they would mark 'PARENT EXCUSED'--forgery! They hold no one accountable for anything. I emailed absolutely everyone and got no responses from anyone until I mentioned the word "forgery" then suddenly a couple of responses, and then back to nothing.
Matriculation for GREAT students, catastrophe. Ask around, parents will tell you.
What I will say is that the teachers are lovely. They seem passionate about what they do and they seem to care about their students. This review is not complaining about them.
The administration cannot be bothered. The school is too big, they don't care. They just don't care.
My biggest parenting regret is sending my boys there.

What I love about Palisades Charter High School is how they academically prepare you for college admissions as the offer only honors, college prep and AP classes. I also admire the variety in class from Clothing and Textiles to Hiking class. There is also a student body, ambassadors and link crew that helps new and current students settle into school. Every staff member there is more than willing to help you succeed in school and life. I also love how the staff members are open to new ways to improve the school, overall I rate the school a 5 out of 5!
My Palisades experience was great, the staff was very helpful, there are multiple extracurricular activities to choose from , and the campus is just beautiful. I played football for two years and the support for the team, from the parents and the school was amazing. My only downfall with the school is that, it is a 2 hour bus ride one way for me, none the less, my desire to attend over ruled any challenges that I might have faced to get there. The one thing that could change is they could add more stops to the transportation bus that is offered to students. Other than that , I have truly enjoyed my High school experience at Palisades Charter High
