Palatka High School Reviews

Palatka High School is a good school, the academics are good, and the teachers are okay most of the time, but a big issue is communication. There is no communication whatsoever regarding many things such as testing schedules, where to go for those tests, what the schedule for the day is when it is an early release day, etc. There is just a constant lack of information getting to the students and even most teachers. I will say, when I first came to the school sophomore year, one thing I noticed was how kind most people were, there are a lot of students who will fight each other and argue with teachers, but there is an impressive amount of students and teachers who will listen and help you out in a time of need.
I transferred to Palatka High School my junior year and am not currently a senior. I have loved it every since. Palatka High so many positive things for students to be involved with such as clubs, different volunteering and internship opportunities, certain classes that actually are a boost to future careers. This school is has been achieving more and more goals every year and I am glad that I have been here to see it as well as apart of it . Home of the Panthers!
It is a good school, for the most part. It has nice teachers, some good staff, and kind police officers, but are firm and ready when need be. There are fight which happen semi-frequently but have calmed down in the recent months. I'd say it's worth it.
