The school is an amazing place to meet new people, try new things and accelerate in academics. The students there are nice and help each other out. The teachers and guidance counselors are always trying to get kids to stay in school and have them excel in their classes so that their ready for college. The school is just one big happy family and everyone are all connected together.

During my 4 years at Palatka high school I had my ups and downs. For the most part it was a good experience. I learned a lot and met a lot of people through the years. I was a AB honor roll student and was connected through many different clubs, I played soccer for 2 years starting my junior year. From my freshman year I was I was in HOSA and received my CMAA certification and also my CPR certification.
An emphasis made on the importance of going to college would be beneficial for its students. While I went to school there, I found little encouragement to attend a university from my teachers. However, what was lacking from my teachers was present in student ambitions.
