Staff is very friendly, and will assist you when you need help - they might even become your friend! The Math and English department are very, very great. That includes the curriculum, the teachers and the students. The Science department is lacking. The Science teachers are less than average at teaching. There’s no way you’ll pass a science class, unless you’re the favorite. Lunch is a hit or miss, no in between.

The school is very small and placed in an almost isolated area which causes a lot of traffic in the morning. There is also only one sidewalk path for students to leave and arrive at the school which causes a lot of foot traffic at the beginning and end of the school day. The location also leads to problems with ants and rodents but the staff does try to fix this. The school has a lot of spirit which is shown by the different activities planned by students'. There are also many clubs on campus and there is something for everyone to do. The school also has a variety of different classes which include electives like forensic sciences and bike and computer workshops. The teachers at the school are very supportive of students education. There is also currently a track and football field being built which will take some time to finish but there is also the gym, weight room tennis and basketball courts that are available.
Now that I am a senior, I can look back and realize that Pajaro Valley High School was a great stepping stone for my development in life. I have made amazing and faithful friends throughout my time in this school and learned fascinating concepts from my noble teachers. I admired the school spirit and how students and staff gladly interconnected due to the blissful attitude they have. On the other hand, I believe there are many factors that need to change in this school optimize the students' learning experience. Personally, I wasn't satisfied with the variety of clubs and classes they provided. I want to pursue a career in the STEM field, however, there was hardly anything I could enroll in school besides Calculus to prepare me for my desired career. For that, I think there should be a greater variety in classes and clubs so students can get a better comprehension on what they want to do in their future.
