The staff are amazing and very dedicated, I truly had a great lot of teachers throughout my four years. The coursework is rigorous, and the teachers are very encouraging. It’s been a wonderful learning experience attending Paint Branch. They offer such a wide array of AP programs and also offer medical pathways which gave me certification as a Medical Assistant before I even graduated! The food is ok, it could be better. Parent involvement is ok but I wish it could be better, I know it annoyed my parents that I chose my entire schedule for the year without even consulting them, after all they’re the reason I’m at school anyways, I do think the school should be better about increasing parent involvement in academics, not as a punishment, but to supplement the student’s growth. I have had very little experience with the engineering department, but from what my friends say and what I have experienced, the Engineering coursework is not rigorous enough.

Paint branch overall is a great school. Wonderful facilities including the newly built gym and cafeteria along with the student-led restaurant the Panther Paw. The environment is overall positive and welcoming in terms of administration and teacher-student relationships. The downfall of Paint Branch would be the favoritism of some students over others, especially athletes who get favored in terms of school policies, classwork, and grades and etc. Also, the lack of effective security has allowed dangerous gang members onto the school grounds endangering other students who attend paint branch thus creating an unsafe environment.
Paint Branch High School was extremely diverse. That's mainly why I loved the school, we never had problems of creating groups and friends, everyone was together. We all knew the staff and admin, as well as the teachers so if any teacher ever retired, we got to know them pretty well before they left and got a chance to say our goodbyes and made them feel at home as much as possible!
