For the most part, I enjoyed my time at Padua High School. Many of the teachers are helpful and caring, however, some are not and should not be teaching. I took AP classes and had some teachers that did not know how to teach the material at a level that high school students could understand. Other aspects of Padua were great, such as the extra curricular activities, the attention to service and helping others, such as Christmas For Others and the sports teams. These made high school so much fun!
Padua is a great college prep school and will get you where you want to go following your 4-year education. Padua offers extensive programs ranging from math and computer programs to their well known MedTrack program, which leads students into the majors and careers they want to fulfill. Padua's teachers are friendly and committed to helping students succeed. Not only is Padua a safe and friendly learning environment. Padua's Franciscan values and traditions light the hearts of students with faith and hope, making it one of the best high schools you could attend. Go bruins!
While some of the teachers were beyond knowledgeable and exceptional, others do not have a teaching degree or a degree in what they’re teaching.
It very much stresses that Padua is a college prep school and some of the teachers were wonderful and went beyond what they needed to do, but again, there are exceptions in everything, so multiple staff members did the bare minimum.
Overall, it is not an exceptional school, it’s average for what a high school should supply to it’s students.
