I graduated in 2019. Wouldn’t do it again, but I had a good time. The sports are pretty good, our football program is well known. There are some really good teachers and then others that are mediocre. Chef Collins is one of the most influential instructors there and I believe she even won an award for it. Definitely related me for university. The principal does a good job too, students really love him! Overall, the staff of really nice and the school offers good programs. Although there are good teachers and staff members, the mathematics program is weak. There is only one math teacher I remember that actually knew how to teach in a way that everyone was able to understand: Mr. Castaneda. Everyone else I personally didn’t have a good experience with and my peers would agree as well. The school lunch 4/5 days of the week are usually not appetizing. The menu could definitely use work. Overall, it is a good school and I would send my kids.

I liked the majority of my teachers. Matter of fact, they inspired me to pursue a career in teaching. I learned a lot from hearing their stories and advise. I really loved the fact that the career center offered multiple workshops and aid for their seniors. The principal is great. He is funny, kind, and understanding. He listens to his students and tries his best to keep them happy. The classrooms are all in the same section so it's easy to locate them. The fields are huge so there's plenty of space for each sport teams to practice and prepare for games. However, the cafeteria is too small. It is a hassle to get lunch since the lines are so long and it takes the majority of lunch time to arrive at the front windows. The school is overpopulated so between classes you are constantly bumping into people. The gymnasium is small as well. It can't fit every student on campus because its overpopulated. I guess everyone wants to attend Pacifica High School.
I like how all the teachers are very dedicated and engaged in their jobs! I had the best time with all my teachers this year and truly learned a lot about my courses as well as the type of student I am. Something I would change would be the student atmosphere where it seems there are too many friend groups that don't mix with one another; it seems like not all the students want to get along and make new friends.
