Pacific Cascade Middle School Reviews

3 reviews
The school was great. I was in the orchestra program and the community, teacher, music program, concert, and resources availability was awesome. The school is very safe and the food is good and various. There are many sports and clubs to participate in, plus three awesome music programs (choir, orchestra, and band). The teachers are very nice, the classrooms are clean, the pep rallies are energetic. The school teaches great things and have a great curriculum. Students are very nice and respectful and the school has a great reputation.

PCMS is best known for its music program. The choir, band, and orchestra have excelling programs, so a lot of the students are in one of the three music groups. There are a couple clubs, ranging from My Little Pony Club to Math Club and Science Olympiad. The teachers in general are okay, with a few being AMAZING and a handful being TERRIBLE. Your education experience with your teachers really depends on who you have. Academics are also okay here; there is a lot of homework. The class size is fairly large, ranging from 26 to 33 students. However, the thing that I dislike the most here are the cliques. If you don't catch up with the trend of wearing some $200 outfit, you're immediately considered "not cool." There are a lot of stereotypical social groups. The food is terrible, though they do have pizza everyday for purchase that they order from a local pizza store.
Teachers range from life-changing to absolutely terrible and inadequate. Needs to be more attention focused on the way curriculum is presented and feedback from students.
