I believe they need to have more activities and clubs for the students that are gifted and to fully support them instead of the parents of the students in the club having to pay for all of the robotics supplies to support the club. Other schools clearly value their students that are in the robotics club because they support them with their funds instead of having to get sponsorships in the community or having to as their parents to pay for all of the supplies. Also their is not much diversity amongst the students.
Small town feel however they need to have a more open mind regarding all races. The students are respectful and it’s easy to meet new people and they always have something going on for students to be involved even with the pandemic.
Pace High is a great place to be. I hope in the future we will be able to improve our gymnasium. It is to small for our campus. It’s great to be a patriot !
Pace High School does good for students in advanced programs, but in terms of the average student - not the best. Teachers are biased and put their personal views into their teaching WAY too much.
I’m just starting as a Freshman here, but I love this school! I am involved in Yearbook, WPHS, and Beta! It’s a big campus, but still easy to find your way around. Everyone here is like a big family, and we have lots of cool traditions! The teachers are nice, and they offer tons of classes in every field. I couldn’t see myself not going to PHS.
I loved the school. I’ve seen schools in nearby counties that are absolutely blown away by Pace. The school isn’t necessarily shiny and new but the staff care and the school is filled with spirit and care.
In my experience at Pace High School, what I enjoyed most was the atmosphere. Not necessarily the atmosphere of the school as a whole, but of one aspect: the band program. I spent all four years of high school enveloped in this program and it is the most competitive and family-oriented program I have ever been in. Some other aspects of Pace High School I enjoyed were some of the teachers. They were very kind and sometimes goofy, but they were professional enough to stay on task with the lesson that day. Some changes I think could happen at Pace starts with administration. The administration at Pace is very biased with students good or bad. I also think Santa Rosa County as a whole should do away with the "zero-tolerance" policy which states there is absolutely no physical violence. Now, I do not condone it, but I believe in the right to protect myself in the event that another student strikes me. Overall, Pace High School offers a fairly okay experience.
Being from a rather small town, Pace High School offers plenty of resources for students and provides adequate opportunities. There are many areas that have room for improvement, such as the classes offered, however, the teachers are great and the band program is amazing.
The environment of Pace is nice and the school is a good school overall. every school has its downsides but I really enjoyed Pace. The teachers, for the most part, are good and all the staff does a good job keeping us safe at the school. I enjoyed my experiences at this school and I wouldn't have wanted to go to any other high school.
Pace High offers great academic programs for its students. Such as a variety of AP classes and a new program called AP seminar allowing its students to receive the one-hundred percent tier of the Bright Future Scholarship. One thing about the environment of Pace High is that it has many cliques that one could join, whether it be sports, or any other clubs. Such as Beta, SGA, or even a Chess Club. Pace High provides a wide variety of clubs and academic tracks for its students. The counselors at Pace High provide good guidance for its students. One for example is currently assisting me enroll in an duel enrollment course and is already building my schedule for my senior year. Pace High is lacking in diversity though but the environment is fair for all races. No school is going to have all good teachers but for the most part, Pace High has hired well equipped teachers who not only can teach but care if the student does well in his or her class.
Pace High School is a large school that has separate buildings similar to a mini college campus. I've made amazing friends over the last four years at Pace High School and although I'm excited about my next adventure to college, I will miss my friends and many of the teachers and administration at Pace High School. It's a small town High School where people look out for each other and parents are very involved.
Pace Highschool provided wonderful college prep courses and high level dual-enrollment courses. It's diversity is awful, but the safety and academic standing make up for it.
During my four years at Pace High School, there is not one thing i can complain about. I loved every single part of it whether it was from the teachers to playing sports, i would not have changed my decision to go there even if i could. Every teacher that i have encountered in my four years has helped me progress and become the young adult i am today. Pace High is also a very big sports school, so being able to play sports all four years has been an honor and has made me progress to get me ready to play college baseball at the next level.
I love the school spirt! I would like for the school to have some updates to the physical building. We need a new gymnasium.
It is a very large school and there is plenty to do. All the teachers seem to do their job well. I moved to Pace my junior year and most students welcomed me in. I have adjusted well and met many friends. I would recommend this school over Tate or Milton. The only issue is how cold the building is. There’s not much they can do about that though. It’s a very large campus and easy to navigate.
I love Pace High School because I just love the environment. The pep rallies are my favorite part of my high school life because everyone is always having so much fun and seeing the amount of school spirit all around the gym is astonishing. It is like we are all uniting into one force that is just excited to win a game.
I had a great 4 years at Pace High School. It’s is a safe school with plenary of extra curricular activities. One the top schools in Santa Rosa County
