Ozark High is seriously a great school. They have so many programs made to help prepare students for their next steps while they're still in high school, like the AP and IB programs, FBLA and DECA, Dual-Enrollment classes at the nearby community college, and COE. Don't be fooled by our greenhouse that this school will make everyone into agriculture students, either. While our Agriculture department is pretty big, there is also a strong Computer Science side to Ozark High, where I succeeded in learning several programming languages and computer problem solving skills.
Ozark High also focuses very heavily on soft skills and test preparation, often making some degree of test prep mandatory in each classroom. Ozark High prides itself in some of the highest ACT scores around, and it's no wonder when you see how much the ACT matters to everyone here.
It's hard to complain about this place.

My experience with Ozark High School has been wonderful, I have been in the Ozark school district since kindergarten and every year is full of new opportunities with great teachers and staff. Everything from schoolwork, to clubs, and Friday night football games are so much fun!
Academically, Ozark is above average. I have been able to take many advanced classes throughout my time at Ozark High School. The biggest problem with Ozark High School is that the school and the available resources are not large enough to fulfill the student body needs. The building barely fits 3 grades worth of students and that is with packing classrooms completely full. Often times students are not able to take the classes that they want simply because it is full. Meeting with your counselor is difficult to say the least. There is one counselor for each grade that has a minimum of 400 students. That being said, the school is still one of the best in Missouri.
