My experience with Oxnard High School has changed from my freshman year up until now. I've become more involved within the school community. The sports I enjoyed doing while my time here was Cross Country, Track, and Cheer. I was also involved in various clubs such as Mecha, migrant, key, and digital/film club. At first I ha a bumpy start with my classes and friends but the overall environment became better!

Oxnard High School is home to every type of student. No matter what your interest is, there is a place for you at OHS! The sports are competitive and we have our fair share of academic excellence. Most teachers genuinely care for the education they're proving to the students. Overall, Oxnard High School will always live on.
What I appreciate about my high school is that the teachers are willing to go above and beyond to ensure my success. I have teachers that would undoubtedly develop an agenda in order for me to succeed, as well as teachers who arrive well before class begins in the case of a student in need of tutoring. Although the instructor department is superb, I would greatly appreciate it if the administration applied more focus on college readiness. While I do understand that the campus contains a “College and Career Center,” it would be more applicable if the school developed more awareness about the center.
