I've been a student at Owsley county schools all of my life. I've enjoyed going to a smaller school, but at the same time I haven't. The perks are that you graduate with the people you've grown up with, teachers are more hands-on with you, and you get to know everyone easily. The cons would be that some students get better treatment than others, bullying is always going on, rules are a little more loose, and there aren't many extracurricular activities. Overall, this school is mediocre.

I like many things my high school does. The best thing is how small it is and how you never feel like you are left out. Something I would like to see change is how the hallways is always crowded. They could do it by making people going one way on one side and the other way on the other side. This would help with the students not be tardy as much because they wouldn't have to fight through the crowd in the halls.
There is excellent opportunity to prepare for college by taking advantage of the resources given by school staff.
