Our Savior New American School Reviews
Rating 4.41 out of 5 71 reviews
Great teachers, great administrators that are very passionate and caring for students and the future of students and that of the nation. They approach academics with a strong focus on the time tested foundation of Classical Education, problem solving and learning to learn. It is a God centered institution, instilling the teachings of Christ and developing talented, caring and God fearing young men and women. Each time I meet a new student, they approach me with a smile, extend their hands, gives a firm handshake and present them self in the most orderly and professional manner. The School emphasis respect for all, and I feel impressed and very proud of how mature the students behave and conduct themselves.
At Our Savior New American School, I love that the school is centered around God and is a warm and loving environment. All my teachers care about teaching and that I learn and obtain what they taught. The school is small, which is good because you don't get lost in the crowd and all the students and teachers are like family. The material being taught is truthful and centered on God. We pray before and sometimes after class. The sports teams are amazing the teams I've been on which are Basketball and Volleyball are beyond good. My teammates are more than friends and my coaches are more than coaches. I also am involved in the choir with a great teacher who cares about the experience we have when we are performing, he always looks out for us being that we are small, and he wants us to thrive in music. My Principal is someone who devotes everything to my school, he never misses a beat and cares about all of us, from the preschoolers to the seniors.
I have two children attending OSNAS this year(20/21) my kindergartener is much more advanced than her sibling was who attended kindergarten, phonics is one big difference I see and learning how to read a clock already, learning Spanish, using REAL money to buy lunch ( which is actually real good from local restaurants) it truly amazes me the difference I see. My 2nd grader had some difficulty in the beginning of the year learning phonics but has adapted quickly and is excelling now and even made honor roll. last year when she was attending public school I had to hire a private math tutor but this year I don’t even really have to help her with her homework SHE GETS IT! The principal is quick to respond to e-mails and I feel like everyone knows my children they don’t get lost amongst the others like in public school. HIGHLY recommend this school!
