From Our Lady of Tepeyac High School

Since 1927, Our Lady of Tepeyac High school has upheld the tradition of strengthening faith and academics through community.
Tepeyac prides itself on offering a solid college preparatory curriculum which prepares young women for life-long learning through spiritual and intellectual growth. The classes and extra-curricular activities are geared toward the students' individual academic needs and personal interests.
One of our top education goals is to help our students get into the university of their choice.
100% of our students graduate, of which 100% go on to higher education.
We know that once our students get to college, they continue to strengthen the voice they developed at Tepeyac.
Our alumnae continue to tell us that graduating from an all girls high school gave them an advantage in the college admissions process, and that every dollar invested in a Catholic education was given back ten-fold in college financial aid or scholarships.

Tepeyac was a great support team for me as a student. Always ensuring I had the adequate resources to get involved in programs within the city that would then benefit me in college. Teachers and Staff were with me every step of the way, including guidance in my college application process and beyond. I am one of four siblings who graduated from OLT; Financial Aid and Scholarships were available for my family to make it possible. The Tepeyac Family cares for it's students and is always moving forward with innovative ideas to grow as a school.

My experience at Tepeyac is really good. It was good because of the teachers, staff, and my friends. The things I did at Tepeyac was play sports but mainly softball. I went to Tepeyac my sophomore year. Going into a school seemed overwhelming but when I got to tepeyac I felt wanted and important to the school. I made friends the first day there that I am still friends with. The things I would like to see change is new desk, and to switch over to laptops instead of carrying heavy books around all day.
Here at Our Lady of Tepeyac prepare young girls for college through clubs, classes and other extra curriculums. Since tepeyac is a small school everybody knows eachother and each class has really conncected with one another. There are about 9-15 girls in a class which is really helpful when your struggling since they give you a one on one attention. The only thing I would change is the school should offer more AP classes and more electives to pick from for juniors and seniors .
