We have one daughter at OLPH. My wife had some insight into the school, as she went there for K-8. The long-term continuity of education and community is very strong, as many of the teachers that our daughter has are either the same teachers my wife had or people that my wife went to school with that returned to work there. Our daughter started at OLPH in kindergarten and is now in 5th grade. She loves going to school every day. The education is fantastic. The discipline is appropriate, which fosters responsibility. The communication of school information is really good. Hopefully this won't be a long-term need, but the response to COVID has been awesome. Our daughter has been in-person every day since the start of 2020-2021 year. The only remote time was the beginning (March-June 2020). I feel like our daughter has missed out on VERY little, if any, school experience/education over the past 2 years. Well worth paying tuition and RETX in such a strong public school district...
Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH) has done a FABULOUS job both during the summer (preparing for school) and the school year. They were 100% prepared for school with cohort groups and all classrooms were prepared in every detail the first day of school this year. OLPH has been wonderful since the first day home in March last school year. They switched to e-learning over 1 weekend! As a substitute teacher, I can tell you OLPH has gone above and beyond parents expectations. This $ should go to the staff for their hard work!
OLPH is an amazing school in normal times! The school has been welcoming students for full-time in-person learning since August, as well as before and after school care for working parents (which is our case). This has been a life-saver for our family with 2 working parents, and we couldn't be more grateful to the staff who have put in tremendous effort to make it happen, and make it work! Great job Warriors!
