The pastor has made the school into an uncontrollable "mission school," however it is anything but. This school water downs Catholicism so far until it is hardly recognizable. The main goal of the school is to teach the children how to act in a somewhat civilized manner. I had one child that would constantly hit the lockers in the back of the room during class even after being told repeatedly to stop. The last year I was there I had a child who would scream, yes scream, repeatedly in my classroom. When I said something about how distracting this was to the other children and to my lessons I was told that I needed to be "more understanding." Months later I was called to his office . I was told that I was constantly asking for a resource worker to come into my class (which I did not) and that my students grades were down! This is a horrible school to work for and it is an insult to what Catholic education should be.
