Our Lady of Lourdes High School Reviews

My experience at this school was beyond stellar. The smaller, more individualized environment was beneficial to my growth as a student and person. This was highlighted in the attention that the faculty pays to each student. If someone needs help, advice, or just wants to talk, teachers are more than willing to engage. In fact, they are happy to do so. The close relationships I had with my teachers helped me with college prep as well as fostering my interests and building my professional network. Finally, the discipline that this school emphasizes is extremely advantageous as well. The students here are respectful, friendly, and hard working. If I could rate this school as being more than five stars, I definitely would!

WOW! It is not hard to see that the unfavorable reviews above must be coming from students who were disciplined and asked to leave? What immature rants.
I am happy to hear that the Administration ask the students who are not serious about their education, and are only interested in creating a bad environment and trouble, be asked to leave. If you can't follow a basic rule or continue to break them, why should you be given a privilege like going to prom? There is a reason my children attend Our Lady of Lourdes. It is because they are living and learning their faith everyday. They are receiving a superior education and will be fully prepared for college. Kudos to the Lourdes administration for taking swift action when trouble arises. It is only fair to those students who want the best high school experience they can have and know the difference between right and wrong.
Our Lady of Lourdes High School is very selective when it comes to the student body. Teachers and administration play favorites and present very little to no respect for students privacy or views. Multiple staff members are underrated for the amount of work they do during the year for the students and they are overshadowed by the administrators. Guidance counselors are extremely nice but get distracted from their work. Many sports teams are underrated and do not receive the same amount of attention as other sports. Sports like football and basketball unjustly get more attention than sports like cheer, tennis, and track. Also, for weather related closings, dismissals, or delays, we rely on neighboring districts to make their decision before we make ours. This sometimes cause kids to be stuck at the school when the weather could be bad. Overall, there are some good things about Lourdes but the negatives definitely outweigh the positives.
