Our Lady of Angels School Reviews

I attended OLA for 9years started in Kindergarten. The experience will be with my forever. The teachers are like family. Always willing to help and listen. Everyone knows each other and we help each other through good and bad times. We have lots of events and clubs. I can not think of anything I would change and I will plan on coming back to visit while in High School and Volunteer my time in tournaments.

As times change, so do the requirements of getting into my high school, Saint Joseph Academy. Part of the process includes shadowing the school to see what a typical day would be like. Another event to attend to see our school is to come to an open house. This gives the students, as well as the parents a look at what we have to offer. All students then can decide to take our placement test, which will determine a number of things; placement into classes, acceptance, capabilities/struggles, etc. Once the tests are reviewed girls are then sent a letter to receive in the mail about their acceptance. We offer special classes for kids who do exceptionally well, this motivates kids to do well because they know this going into testing. Taking our process, and academic requirements into account I would discern my school as having a selective admissions process, but never turning away someone because of money issues. They make sure to work with the families that have money problems, because they wouldn't want a child to miss out on the academic opportunity due to something like that.
