My kids went there for a few years and while most teachers were great, the kids and parents were a little too snooty for me. Also it was a very high pressured environment especially for elementary school with multiple timed tests and a very competitive AR program. I like to challenge my kids but we were all stressed the entire school year. I thought that was normal until we changed schools and are much happier now. If your kid isn’t into or good at sports they probably won’t fit in very well.

Ouachita Christian School is a good school. Your teachers care about you. The food and sports are great. The biblical foundations are good starts. But, like any highschool, you will get out of it what you put into it.
The students are not always the greatest, but the teachers, admins, and values are all very good.
Ouachita Christian School is a school where kids feel like they belong and are loved. Receiving an OCS education means you have been prepared for college, as well as life. Values are taught and upheld. Although there is a lower tolerance for certain behaviors that you may find elsewhere, love and grace are extended to all students.
