As a senior at this school and having attended it since the 7th grade, I can thoroughly say that this place was fantastic. The teachers were excellent and made you feel helped and safe. The school provided a safe learning environment for everyone of all learning abilities. Personally, I never once had an issue with a teacher here, everyone was willing to work with you to get you to the level you wanted to be at. Also, the school is constantly changing and working towards a better school for everyone. These constant updates in the school allow it to be successful in both reaching students academically and personally.

My experience here at Otter Valley has been generally outstanding. I look forward to coming to school everyday and working with the teachers and my peers. If I were able to change something about OV, it would be the new advisory program they set in place. Students seem very unhappy including myself and the faculty isn't really listening. But what I do enjoy most about this school that I have attended for the last 4 years (+2 junior high years) is the atmosphere of the staff, and if you ask them a question about anything it is likely that almost every time they will help lead you in the right path and always look out for students best interest.
I graduated from Otter valley. My experience at this school was not a good experience. There was no real discipline for students actions. I was attacked at the school by a student and teachers looked the other way and did not help me. I had to file with the police to get something done to that student. I applied through our sending school otter valley to attend Stafford Technical school in Rutland. I got in the culinary program and loved it. Now I am in college going to culinary institute of America in New York.
