They really care for their students, and push them to archieve! They have prep for Sat and Act, extra tutoring some one to one. Food is so so and it better to bring your own ( that what the majority do anyway) basketball indoor, soccer outside but not really a soccer field. Robotic club outstanding. Painting and drawing good too.

Wonderful experience with Orlando Science School!!! I believe this school opened many doors and opportunities for my children and focused them on their future goals. This school encourages students to set their goals high and then gives them the "road map" and a tank of gas to get there!!! The atmosphere is one of inclusion and acceptance where religion, race and sexuality are embraced. No student bullying... finally a place where a smart kid is praised and not left feeling inadequate for not playing a sport. Amazing student body that reaches out to each other, encourages each other, and pushes each other to stay on track and to reach for their highest goals. My son's graduating class of 2017 had kids accepted to MIT, Columbia, Vanderbilt, Rice, Notre Dame, Duke, GaTech, Emory, UCF, UF, etc... Full Rides!!! Did I mention there were only 44 kids in his graduating class!?!?!
Anything academic wise, OSS is a very good school. Other than the occasional bad teacher, the teachers are all very caring and only want the best for their students. All the admin are pretty ok, with some exceptional ones and other not so good ones. This school is definitely challenging and prepares you for college. It is a small school so while it has access to resources, not as much as I have seen at other schools. Everything else is pretty average average at this school.
