Orangewood School Reviews

My kids have gone here since kindergarten. I'm disabled and the teachers know me well enough to accommodate me in the fact that I cant show up for conferences sometimes. We email and use the phones. The staff is super friendly and the remember every kids name rarely forget a last name and they know my face and car for pick up. The school is gated and my favorite part is it's all indoor. No separate buildings to walk between. I feel safer knowing that there is more than 1 door between someone who could potentially harm my child and my child. I know it's a C school but the teachers are an A. My kids have all As in their classes and free lunches. We now live out of district for the 3rd year and I continue to apply for them to stay. It is convenient for me as far as childcare goes and work plus it's my kids 2nd home. They'd be torn if it changed it.
I couldnt reccomend them more.

Orangewood elementery is known for it's enthusiastic and outgoing fund raisers. Along with its increasing possitive school spirit, with a passionate student body and faculty. One element I would change for this school would be better benefits for teachers and low income students. As well as better lunches and less illumination of funding in certain areas of visual arts and music
