Orangeburg Prep is most definitely a very safe school. I would say that it is one of the safest schools in Orangeburg County. Orangeburg is not a very safe place to live, because the crime rate is so high. Two things I would like to see change at Orangeburg Prep is how athletes are treated by some coaches and there definitely needs to be more opportunities for students to get a head start on their careers.

I enjoyed the teachers I had at Orangeburg Preparatory School, but I would like to see change. I was not well prepared for college courses. Throughout my high school career, I did not have to study often to make good grades. I would suggest that high school teachers discuss study habits with students to discover which study methods work for them individually.
Orangeburg Preparatory school, for the most part, is decent school. There have been teachers here that did not teach a single thing, and there have been other teachers that have explained and gone over topics very well. The attitude that surrounds this school is my least favorite thing. What I like about this school is that it is lenient on certain things.
