Olentangy Orange High School was a great experience for high school to have, the teachers really cared about moving each of the students forward not only in their classes, but further than that, through life. The arts programs are where the school truly shines, the (marching) band, the choir(s), the orchestras and the theatre program were all truly exceptional. The administration also ran a ship that was kept to very high standards, but manageable ones. The students are given a good amount of work, nothing that should make the students feel too overwhelmed or like they can't participate in out of school activities or sports or a job. Overall, Olentangy Orange is a top of the line high school that the students are very lucky to attend.

I think Orange high schools a well rounded school. Surrounded by helpful, caring, and very intelligent teachers, who are always trying their best in everything. As a downfall, I think the school is over crowded. It's really hard for both students and teachers to navigate through hallways. However, I believe the new school that's currently under construction will strengthen this issue.
The overall quality of teachers is good but can be hit or miss at times. Some teachers go above and beyond to ensure their students are comprehending the material but others you will find are doing the bare minimum, if that. Teaching styles vary quite a bit from teacher to teacher but you can also tell the teachers who collaborate with their co-teachers apart from those who do not. Their overall knowledge is most likely more than they receive credit for but I know a few teachers who are just extremely knowledgeable and it makes my classmates and me wonder why they aren't a college professor or teaching at a higher level. The majority of the teaching staff at Olentangy Orange High School are interested in students and their development as not only students but as young adults but their are a few I have either had as my teacher or have crossed paths with that have no problem leaving students behind and letting their grade suffer consequently. Especially with all the technology that all at Orange High School, students and teachers alike, have access to, communication skills are excellent. Between Remind101 text reminders for assignments along with Schoology supplemented by the use of PowerSchool for not only students but parents as well to access grades. Consistency in grading is good within a class that is graded by one teacher but from teacher to teacher their is no universal, school-wide grading scale besides the parameters for each individual letter grade.
