Orange High School is a very academically rigorous program with highly qualified teachers. So much of the reason I enjoyed my high school experience was because of the teachers and their exceptional dedication to their students. The theatre department at Orange is also particularly very strong and is where some of my greatest memories of high school remain. Acting Orange Light Theatre productions gave me the confidence to apply to colleges for theatre performance.
One of the areas that I felt needed to be improved upon at Orange was the social atmosphere. I can't say specifically how it is today, three years later, but it was difficult at times during my experience there. There were several incidents including racists or homophobic remarks made either on social media by students or at school. Some of these instances were not dealt with by the administration with the same kind of force and consequences I felt was required.

Olentangy Orange High School is a great school. Lots of opportunities for clubs, sports, and teachers seem to care about their students, both academically and personally. Go Neers!
Orange High School is a great school because it is beyond supportive and full of educational opportunities. They have great programs that are college and career preparedness like Avid. This is a program in Orange High that gives a positive impact on students because it helps you throughout your college path. The administration and teachers are very friendly. Once you gain a connection with a staff member they are like family and are always there for you. In addition, there is a lot of involvement through clubs that provide community service. Clubs are a good motivation to be more outgoing and try new things. If you are struggling with a class not only do they provide tutoring in the library, but teachers will take time out of their day to give you the help you need to succeed.
