Orange Grove Middle School Reviews

I liked OG pretty good. The teachers are AMAZING. The outdoor campus is nice. One downside is that in the hotter months there aren't enough seats inside for everybody. The worst part about OG is the PE teachers, we had a creepy PE teacher who had an investigation looking into him done by the sheriff. The other PE teachers were ok. They also had no electives, they were the band, choir, and art. My current school has like 20 electives. Here's a tip OG, have teachers who have off periods teach an elective that period. (Think STEAM, Psychology, Drama)The best part about OG is the snack bar. YUM! Ohh and the student council, they gave away ice cream on the last day and hot chocolate on the day before winter break. However for part of the year, there was no student council, I wish it was better managed. The principal is pretty nice and cared about the students, but was a little creepy making people shake his hand. Maybe high fives? Overall my experience was pretty good, minus the PE.

Orange Grove has some extremely amazing teachers, and probably an overly high fraction of the teachers there are absolutely wonderful. Of course, not every single teacher can be so highly praised, but there are great opportunities to meet awesome faculty members who are very excited when returning students go to visit and talk about their lives. The teachers along with pretty advanced resources and future-planning activities truly prepare students for their futures, and are also a great place to return to when in need of some nostalgic comfort. The honors and gifted resources are very accommodating for students who need a challenge, and most other niches are amazingly welcoming to any students in need.
