Orange Cove High School does it's best to guide students to succeed. Staff are passionate about their field of work and want to see their students succeed. They make sure their students are up to date on assignments, remind them on upcoming deadlines, are available after school for any help or questions, and have one-on-one meetings to see how one can fix their grade. In this District, I'd like for the students to have more school spirit. It would be nice for there to be more assemblies and rallies. Aside from the few rallies that there is, dress code shouldn't be very strict. It's nice as to how there are events and programs that welcome incoming freshman to get comfortable and settled at their new school. I have had an amazing experience at Orange Cove High. It is easy to build relationships with the staff and students. The school is small, with everybody knowing one another which is welcoming for me.

When I think about high school experience, there are many things that come to mind. Some of them are; good memories. mistakes, drama, joy, lessons and most importantly having fun. I learned my valuable life lessons as well as I made lifelong friends. Some examples of good memories in high school are just going to sport games with my friends. My friends and I attend all the baseball, basketball. and football games. Showing school spirit and the company of my friends makes the event fun and exciting. Just good memories for me in general in high school include the basics like seeing people in the hall during passing periods, doing class projects, attending assemblies, seeing people in class every day. Some of the mistakes, lessons, and happiness were direct to my relationship with my boyfriend. Even though me and my boyfriend and I made mistakes, we learned from our mistakes and learned valuable a lesson.
What I like about Orange Cove Highschool is how close we are. Everyone cares for one another and no one is left alone. Also the amount of help we have from our teachers and administrators. This campus helps us be college ready and make sure we have all the help we need to succeed. One thing though, I want the school to have more programs like a cna program so students won’t have to go all the way to reedley in order to take the class it can be home based.
