Offered a wide variety of options including online, small classroom instruction, and independent study. Their Pathways Program offers amazing opportunities for education and travel that you can't get anywhere else, they provide all the supplies you need for each class free of charge (including laptops and internet access), and the staff really cares about helping each student succeed. In recent years they've also begun offering more programs for college and work which have been tremendously helpful. Their class schedules are flexible so that you can set your own work pace, but the requirements are rigid enough to motivate you. It was a lifesaver for students like me who are overachieving, but couldn't thrive in a normal public school environment.

My only qualms with the school are administrative problems. It took them several years to start offering lunch to students. Certain textbooks and classes are often in short supply or unavailable because of the lack of resources.

I am no longer a student nor did I graduate from this school but I wish I did. I went to this school for the year of 2015. I was never my best at a regular setting high school and did not hold up the best grades. I came here to bring up my grades not knowing what kind of school it was. It was just like high school, sports, ASB, graduation even prom. If you have your grade up you can go on really awesome trips! I went on a plane my first time for one of the 3 trip I went on. I made some really good friendships here! This was the best high school experience I ever got!
I like Options For Youth because it provides a safe space that students need, the one on one interaction with a teacher, and the second chance to graduate high school. It also provides interactive field trips for students. Options For Youth is a WIAO partner that helps students select a career after high school.
