Options for youth is a great school, they are very flexible with their schedules while still keeping you on track with your regular high school mates. You are held accountable for the amount of work you’ve turned in but they never shy away from helping you catch up when you have fallen behind. It does not have any music activities or classes but it have great trips such as trips to Italy, China, Washington D.C and my other local and educational trips with all expenses paid! The staff there are very kind and have a passion for teaching and genuinely care for their students. Sports are also available in this school, they offer soccer, basketball,
and volleyball.

Options For Youth- San Bernardino is an excellent charter school, that has helped me since day 1 of my transfer from a traditional high school, to a charter school. Here, they care about setting an education plan for you, and what suits you in your education and in the future. Options for Youth has provided me with the resources, classes, and help that I've always needed, no matter what! Truly a great school that doesn't receive enough recognition.
Young students like Options For Youth is because they can have more benefits than in regular highschools. For example, OFY is constantly offering students the opportunity to participate on FREE local and abroad field trips. Students aren't even required to pay for their own meals or their ticket during the field trips that teachers organize, because everything is completely FREE. Students have different assignments and class schedules to prevent them from committing plagiarism. The only issue about OFY is that usually math tutors are too busy helping many students that are taking math classes such as, Algebra, Geometry, and Physics, that they take so long to even explain one problem to each person. This is because students are assigned to a different class than the rest of their peers.
