Overall, Open high is a great school that offers college level classes in order to prepare you for college. The teachers are very well educated in their area of studies and are very understanding to student situations that may arise. Student life is very important to Open. Everyone knows Everyone. With the diverse student classes, all students have the opportunity to make new and unique friends. Also, with the hour lunches provided to students, there is a lot of time to explore around the school, such as, the overlook and the river. There is also a lot of tasty nearby food spots to go to that is affordable!
Open High School gave me an unconventional high school experience where the students receive one on one assistance from teachers along with a tight knit community that allowed for easy and quick relationships to be made with my peers. From the engaging and entertaining activities, focus on volunteering within our community and endless positivity it’s hard to even think there could be any changes to Open High School because it’s perfect as it is and has set me on a path that I feel confident will lead me to accomplishments in the future.
