Overall, Open high is a great school that offers college level classes in order to prepare you for college. The teachers are very well educated in their area of studies and are very understanding to student situations that may arise. Student life is very important to Open. Everyone knows Everyone. With the diverse student classes, all students have the opportunity to make new and unique friends. Also, with the hour lunches provided to students, there is a lot of time to explore around the school, such as, the overlook and the river. There is also a lot of tasty nearby food spots to go to that is affordable!

I love the autonomy you get to experience there, especially as someone who has never experienced freedom of that sort before. Most of us are really close with each other because we're such a small student body (each graduating class has around 50 or 60 kids). But even if you aren't super close with that many people, everyone knows who everyone is just about, which is something you can't really experience in regular sized schools. My only real complaint is there's no music classes. There's just visual art.
Open High School is an excellent college prep high school. Both students and teachers are all connected as one big family. There is great student, teacher, and parent involvement. It is a school filled with many unique students. Which allows for a very unique school with its own personality. Open High has extraordinary staff who put all their time and effort towards the education of their students. In addition, Open High is a very open high school. It allows its students to have freedom, experience new environments, and to grow as upcoming college students.
