Oneness-Family School Reviews
At Oneness-Family School, social and emotional learning is taught alongside a challenging academic curriculum. I so much value the "soft skills" and values I learned there. Additionally, I felt heard, cared for and respected by all my teachers, and am still in touch with many today!
The teachers don't shy away from helping kids address social issues between them. Great mix of local families and internationals. Very inclusive. Emphasis on building community beyond class (like hikes, coffee meetups, etc). Friendly staff and teachers.
The only Con is the administration's handling of the COVID pandemic: poor planning & creativity to find solutions. It used county public school criteria, although it had far better safety protocols as a small private school... Despite parents' urging for in-person time (and promises to reopen earlier), all elementary aged kids were kept out of school for a whole year.
