My middle schooler has been at One School since the first grade. The school is characterized by an innovative and inclusive culture. The project-based learning approach is well developed and encourages students to think critically as opposed to rote memorization and meaningless busy work. My son demonstrates an understanding of how to think by engaging in relevant, real-world problem solving that extends beyond basic concepts. One School is a community filled with caring and knowledgeable adults (both staff and families) that embrace and develop the whole child. The integration of faith- based learning is masterful and sets students up for success in school and life!
My daughter attended ONE School from K-8. She was there at the beginning of the implementation of the transformative educational delivery method of Project Based Learning. ONE School is creating young thought leaders who are Engaged in their educational process, not students being robotically prepped to efficiently take standardized tests, ready to work an assembly line. Understand there is nothing wrong with working an assembly line; however, ONE School student is equipped to work the line, DESIGN the line, MANAGE the line, and provide QUALITY assurance for the line. ONE School was creative & resilient in their educational delivery through COVID - they did an exceptional job, which is evidenced in the students who have gone on to HS. It's my daughter's first year in HS and she's excelling and already is being viewed as a leader by peers and faculty members. My daughter's educational journey at ONE School prepared her for her NEXT! Ask yourself, "How do I want my child to learn?"
Our kids are thriving at One School! Not only is our high energy son given the opportunity to move throughout the day, he is celebrated for his unique abilities and challenged to grow in his areas of weakness. Our daughter attended Pre-k and now kindergarten at One School and is progressing both academically and socially. One School truly cares about the whole child- emotional, social, academic, spiritual, physical - and has developed an innovative curriculum that is preparing each child for the future!
