Teachers are very young considering for the amount of money that goes in to the schools, pay for the teachers are very low so the admin must be getting paid quite well because the salary costs are high in the budget. They keep hiring teachers right out of college, also. Schools are getting overcrowded and yet schools keep asking for more and more money and levys in spite of the taxes dollars thrown in. Quality of education seems to be there to a point but homework is equal to busy work and seems to be more pressure oriented for show and not for quality of learning. Education needs to be more creative than just testing and homework- but without the experienced teachers-- it seems we are losing the quality teachers to higher paying districts. It is a shame and eventually it will catch up with the district.

This school has amazing principal and teachers. I went here and I'm really prepared for high school!
We enjoy the school for the most part but the taxes are extremely high for education that at times is very young and inexperience teachers. It seems that homework is pushed on the kids for hours even at the elementary age when research will say and hour tops even in high schools is enough and does not enhance performance before then. Olentangy is growing so fast that it seems to be barely keeping up with the influx of students and the kids maybe getting lost in the shuffle because of being transferred every 3 years. It effects them all very psychologically and the admin seems to find no other solutions.
