Olentangy Liberty High School provides students with an excellent opportunity to achieve academic success. The staff is excellent and is always working to improve their teaching techniques to better the students. The technology and other resources available make learning efficient. The only thing that Olentangy Liberty lacks is diversity. Being one of the only African- American students, I wished there was a more diverse population of students at Olentangy Liberty.

Less focus on the "required" curriculum topics and a deeper focus on what is truly valuable for the student to know for real life, when they walk out of the doors of the safe high school environment. A broader, more open approach to teaching and learning would be beneficial. Ask more questions on what topics students are interested in learning about. Use more real life examples, less textbook readings. Instead of tests being the focal point of grades in each class, incorporate other ways to prove understanding of a topic. The administration staff of 2017 was amazing in both the professional and personal way with students. They were tough, but supportive and caring, pushing students to be the best they could be.
Education is very good. Nice diverse curriculum. College readiness is on very good. Teachers care for the kids...teachers good...guidance counselors good...Coaches for sports horrible, with a focus on Basketball... they only care if you have been with them since being a kid or for all 4 years or you have loads of money to spread for them. I would not give a drop to this program that lacks ingenuity and is insidious in letting you see it after you go there...it is incredulous. Instead of teaching goals and instilling values in your children, they try to break their spirit... especially if you are ethnic. The poor diversity and lack of real interest in students, as should be in a team environment, it is a true downer...it is uncanny and the worse I have ever seen. Being in the military we have had experience with many schools, this is the worse we have ever seen. Lack of diversity and class.
