Olentangy really excels in acedmics. It is a very competitive environment & there are many challenging courses. Liberty offers so many different classes for a wide range of students. The environment the teachers provide are also a good learning environment with a lot of hands on & critical thinking. Another thing Liberty offers are so many different clubs. They do a nice job of providing clubs for everyone's different interest & even give you the option to start your own if you don't have any you are interested in. Another great aspect of Liberty is the sports team. Liberty excels in athletics! It is very competitive & there are also so many fans out to support those sports teams. Overall, my experience at Liberty has been swell & I am glad I get to be a part of this school.
Review Olentangy Liberty High School
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved at OLHS. There are several clubs that don't require much commitment, and then there are those that you can immerse yourself into fully. In additon, its not too hard to start your own club if any of the current ones don't quite fit what you are looking for. For example, my friends and I started a blanket tying club so that we could donate the blankets we made to Nationwide Children's Hospital, where our friend and teammate was being treated for Leukiemia. Clubs are diverse, including academic clubs, service clubs, language clubs, and clubs just for fun! Besides these, our sports at Liberty are excellent. There are several to get involved in, however each requires much commitment for a large portion of the year. Our students are pretty good at showing support for bigger sports, however we can lack in the cheering department for smaller sports.
I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to go to Liberty. The teaching staff that I had personally went above and beyond to facilitate my learning and I feel that I was very well prepared for college. The classes are vigorous and senior year especially, were very good at preparing me for the workload of college. Only downside was that it was extremely overcrowded!
