Even though I don’t believe OC’s curriculum has really “prepared” me for college, the teachers were very uplifting and always willing to stay after and help. When I attended OC I haven’t noticed any foolishness such as fights or bullying in any way. I think OC is a great high school and have very interactive teachers that will not only help you pass but be successful!

I am a sophomore at Oldham County Highschool and have been very pleased with my experience so far here. Coming from a private school I expected that moving to a public one would be very challenging. OCHS made it the opposite though. Here at Oldham County High school I feel excepted by both the students and the staff. I feel like my teachers care about their jobs and do everything they can to make us students feel safe. Another great thing about OC is the academics. I am taking classes above my great level and the teachers that I have are eager to help me when i’m struggling. Because of their care towards me, I am a straight A student. Lastly I love the environment I am put in when walking into school. Everyone is happy which puts me in a better mood, especially walking in on sleepy monday mornings it is nice to see smiling teachers. All of the pep rally’s, spirit weeks, and other fun activities are what make OC amazing as well. I feel proud to belong to such an amazing school.
I’m a freshman at Oldham County High School and I definitely think OC is great. It feels like one big community and the teachers are legit THE best. The sports and activities are amazing and there’s many to choose from. I’m in band and I feel like our teacher does a great job conducting and teaching us properly! Overall OC is pretty good.
