From Oldfields School

Oldfields believes in the power of teenage girls; in possibilities, not limitations; that learning is about the lifelong, joyful pursuit of personal excellence, not perfection; and when each girl is valued for who she is as much as for who she is as much as who she can become—her possibilities are limitless.

As a small school with over 150 years experience OS creates unique, immersive opportunities for each student. The School’s signature May Program provides an experiential learning opportunity that allows them to pursue their passions, gain new perspectives, and explore possible careers. A renowned riding program offers expert instructors for beginners and experienced riders to achieve their goals.

With students from across the country and around the world, each girl’s diverse individuality is valued, but it is the deep-rooted sense of belonging that makes Oldfields’ community a family and the campus a home.

It is a shame that more people do not know about Oldfields, I had never heard of it before my daughter decided to make a change. From being a mid-year transfer last year to a returning student this year, we LOVE everything about OS! Academics, athletics, theater, teachers and administration. Everyone is so engaged and enthusiastic about the students and their interests. Making the switch from public school was the best decision we made, our daughter thrived in the new environment and is continuing to challenge herself this year.

The first time my daughter stepped on campus, she was immediately drawn to the character and history of Oldfields School. She knew at that very moment that Oldfields was the place where she wanted to spend her years as a high school student.

She instantly identified herself as an “Oldfields Girl.” During her freshman year, she became emmersed in her studies, extra-curricular activities , and social events. As a current member of the sophomore class, she continues to grow as a well- rounded, confident young woman.

Oldfields School is a wonderful place for young girls to discover who they are, and what path they want to follow in this life. The staff is unmatched in terms of their dedication to helping each girl reach her goals, and find success!
I absolutely love it here. The flexible class schedule and nice people here. When I was a Freshman or Sophomore, I was able to accelerate in my class and choose the electives(you do need to take placement test). Class size are very small and teachers pay lots of attention on you. My advisor is super sweet and always brings us treats. The people here are very inclusive and friendly. Everyone is respect of each other. There are lots of cute dogs and cats on campus. You can pet them all the time! There are also various sports and clubs--Model UN, N.A.M.I., Dreamcatchers(hip-pop, and Kpop dance club), Tidbit(our school's own magazine). Never regret to come here!
