This is a very small school of about 200 kids but the small size comes with the perk of knowing everyone and getting more meaningful time with teachers during class or when you need help. There's a lot of school spirit in every event that's put on. The sports could be better by hiring actual coaches and not random teachers, but otherwise the teams make a fair push in each sport. There's core classes, interesting electives and some AP classes but the best thing about the classes is seeing the teacher putting in work to their lessons and enjoying their job to help the students engage in learning so they can be successful.

I came to OOB High School in the beginning of my freshman year, lucky enough. I've had a great academic experience, with many options and levels available. I especially appreciate that they require community service hours and internships which, in a small school, is great because it gives all of their graduating students a better chance of being accepted into college if they please. In the future, I would like to see an option for higher-level classes between regular English, math, etc. and AP versions of those classes.
Being a senior in high school at OOBHS I've seen the school change and grow a lot throughout the four years. It has developed into a more warm and family environment that students enjoy being involved with. I personally enjoy being able to feel comfortable with my teachers and my fellow students. The classes and teachers we have are amazing as we have so many choices for classes to help everyone learn something they like. I would like to see how the school changes some of there discipline acts as sometimes the students feel like the actions of others should be justified more fairly than it seems but besides that we all feel safe and welcomed.
