I really enjoyed my time at Olathe North. All of the teachers were fantastic and they would help you with anything if you asked. At North, I was able to find a community and friends where I felt like I belonged. The overall acceptance of my peers to people who were different always made me proud to call myself an Eagle. If you are looking for a sport to be a part of, I highly recommend our Cross Country team. It's way more than just a group of runners; these people become your family! I was really able to break out of my shyness shell thanks to the wonderful people around me, and I will always hold North in my heart.

I LOVE THIS SCHOOL.I cant write how much i will miss this school when I graduate. some of the reason why i love this school is because it is so diverse. There are so many people who attend here with different backgrounds and cultures, and being from Africa myself, i really appreciate that. Olathe North is not just racial diverse, but we also have so many clubs and people who love all sorts of things. What i mean by this is if you really love Pokemon, there are probably 40 other people who share the same passion. If you love watching history films, there is a class for that. If you love proteins and modeling them using a 3D printer, there is a club for that. There are just so many things you can get involved in! I tell everybody i know that attends a different high school to come to North. I have so many other friends who attend schools like Olathe South, Olathe northwest, Shawnee mission south and I rarely hear anything great about their school, but all my friends at North and I testify how great our school is to everyone. I am just glad to be an Olathe North Eagle.
Olathe North High School is such a diverse school. Everyone is so different, yet feel like family and fit in. It's a school where people can be themselves and be accepted. Teachers are so understanding and very involved with their students, and they also prepare students very well for college. Going into college, whenever people ask what high school I went to, they always have an "oh, that's why expression", and it's not a bad thing. It's mainly because they know how competitive, smart, and cultured an Olathe North student is because of how prepared they are. I have a sibling and some friends who go to other schools, and it's so discouraging to see all of the hate going around in their high schools. I'm so proud to be an Olathe North graduate. I've made connections, grew up as a person, and am now I'm in college and couldn't be any happier. You're in high school once, but you're an eagle forever.
