Graduated in 2016, loved the teachers and overall positive environment. Wished I took advantage of the opportunities given at this time then I actually did. Food is above average, kitchen staff tries their best with what ingredients are made available to them.

The teachers were very involved with the students and dedicated to helping them succeed in every way possible. They also like to be involved with students during school by participating in school activities, coaching sports, and running clubs. The teachers here are amazing and have done everything possible to prepare me for the world beyond high school.
Oil City Senior High School has proven time and time again to be very average and incredibly rural. While the administration has made an effort to improve academics and the school environment, they've left behind the growing progressive, liberal part of the student body and they seem to be unable to find an inclusive, nurturing environment in the rather conservative environment. As a student, I was neither supported in my academics or personal life, nor was I offered many of the opportunities that I could have been even at other schools in the region of a similar social and economic background, and as a result, feel unprepared in many ways for life beyond high school. That said, however, there were a few shining examples of wonderful, open-minded teachers who sought to challenge students, and finding them was a wonderful thing.
