I love the teachers, there were many great people, a spectacular education, but a very poor campus. Freshman year you're greeted with a super nice campus, despite the many stairs, it was very sleek.

As a sophomore you're moved to a new building over 100 years old which feels like a prison. The hallways were very congested and since it's all on one floor getting from one side of the school to the other in a 5 minute passing period can be quite difficult.

I loved the library and the staff was super kind. There was a low tolerance for quiet chatter but they really cared about us. If you ever needed a book or help finding a resource for a paper they were great help. I remember writing a white paper on gun control and one of the librarians was kind enough to help me navigate the databases to find relevant information.

I think O'Fallon is a great school and if I were to have kids I would feel good about sending them there. I think OTHS offers the best education in the area, bar none!

I have enjoyed my three and a half years at OTHS and hope to enjoy my last semester, but there are some issues. Some of my teachers have not fit my needs or other students needs, even if I asked for help or a better way of understanding. Also, I think that the food in the lunchroom should be better seasoned. It is bland and I think they should be better about having more options, especially for those that have lunches later in the day.
The music program is fantastic, but I think the choir and drama department should get more funding. We do a lot of things and don't get recognition for most of them.
Besides those, O'Fallon is great!
O'Fallon High School was a great experience. My time there was full of motivating and inspiring teachers/coaches, challenging classes, and long-lasting friendships. My first two years, I attended various advanced classes while participating on the tennis team. I attended a community college for my junior and senior year for the Running Start program and only went to O'Fallon High School for extracurricular activities. They were very flexible with my schedule and made sure I had a great time attending college and high school simultaneously. I was able to act as a leader for the Wellness Club, setting up booths at the school for various wellness related events. I would like to see the school focus on the students who aren't progressing as fast as the students at the top of the class. In a lot of the classes with less motivated students, it's hard to focus and it seems as if the teachers don't make much of an attempt to encourage scholastic achievement for those students.
