The teachers at OCS truly care about their students. They spend hours collaborating with peers and instructional coaches to make sure students are given the best possible learning opportunities. The strive to help students reach their full potential, not just “covering the material,” but gaining a full understanding, meeting and exceeding goals. While academics and safety are priority, teachers also know the importance of building those relationships with their students, ensuring students feel comfortable in their environment.
There is very little organization and follow through. They make huge promises with no intent to deliver and find deceptive ways run parents on a wild goose chase for answers to burn time. Your children will have sub par education with a grandios to do about achievements that will mean next to nothing in the college world. And dont bother confronting staff about the lack of delivery of their promised extracurricular activities, grade updates or educational improvements they will just find ways to brush it off on you or your student. Your children are much better off in public schools. The only thing good about odyssey charter hr/sr campus is the idea behind it, the Ac system eco friendly nature and the smaller sized campus. Half the teachers have no education degree.
It's really healthy. The school has its own farm that produces food for the cafe. The teachers are AMAZING. Teachers try their best to help students achieve. The staff is great, really friendly and will help you with anything you need. Odyssey is a college prep school, students even get to take field trips to different colleges and universities to help make sure the student is ready...teachers also help with college applications too!! Guards and security cameras are also on campus to make sure your child is safe as well. Highly recommend putting your child in Odyssey.
