O’Connor high school is a very high spirited school. Lots of school spirit mainly sourced by people in athletics. I wish to see more classes involving economics and how to classes. In other schools I have heard about classes pertaining scholarships and they apply for at least two scholarships everyday, O’Connor should be more involved with colleges and helping students achieve more within the success rate. I also would like to see the dress code change more. O’Connor is an outdoor school and in Texas it does get very very hot. I’ve seen students pass out from heat exhaustion. Wearing lighter clothing or shorts even may help with the heat problem. Overall it’s a very good school good teachers. I don’t like the students, but overall good school.

My high school offers a lot of options for classes. I take my education very seriously and this school has given me the opportunity to be the best version of myself academically. It is also very diverse. My classes are filled with all nationalities and that is pretty awesome. I get the chance to communicate with different cultures on a daily basis. There are also many talented instructors and counselors that are very supportive. I feel that the staff at my high school have an open door policy. If I have an issue, I know I can talk to someone without being judged.
In my two years attending Sandra Day O'Connor I must say that I enjoyed every moment of it. Whether it be the great people (faculty or students alike), class curriculum, or the fun and engaging student activities I truly am proud to be a Panther. However there were a couple of minor things that I as a former student would change for future classes. I would first begin by improving student involvement by holding pep-rallies during the middle of school session. In my past high school in Cedar Park Texas, they were able to hold said rallies without interfering with school performance. This gave the school a sense of unity and pride that I feel will improve the environment at Sandra Day O'Conner.
