Oasis Academy is the best school! For my experience, every single teacher makes sure their students grasp the concept, they're carefully teaching. In this school, I have not spotted any bullying of any sort, but if there was one and a teacher found out, he or she would take care of it with the principle right away. Oasis Academy is a small school, but that is something good about it because teachers can properly focus on students more. I have seen students in this school that has been in Oasis from the start, and they are the smartest kids I have ever seen. Students in this school get very advanced in their academic credits and learning. By the time I graduate, I will receive my associate's degree and that is one of the exciting things about this school. Something that I love about Oasis is that there is no school on Fridays. I think Oasis Academy is one of the best schools ever and there shouldn't be any change because it is perfect.
When I first attended Oasis Academy, I immediately noticed how much the school was focused on each individual student. Oasis Academy is smaller than most public schools; it has an average grade of about 40 students. Smaller classes aid in a more personal learning experience. Students have a better time learning since teachers have more time for each individual. Over time the school adopted more programs and extracurricular activities, such as dance, choir, sports, and filmmaking. These programs allowed the students to be more involved in the school as well as wholesome activities outside of the classroom. For example, Oasis Academy allowed me to volunteer to be the DJ for the school dances. This allowed me to develop my own personal talents and interests, which is what the school does for all of its students. If I could change something about the school, I would stop the school's expansion. As the size of the school grows, the less it can focus on the individual students.
I had a wonderful experience at oasis academy. I went there from 3rd grade until 12th grade. There are so many things I loved about it. For one I loved that it was small so teachers gave a lot of one on one attention. That ensured that my needs were always met and I was always comfortable turning to my teachers whenever I had a problem or concern. Another thing I loved about it was the environment. Because it was so small I got to know those in my graduating class really really well and I developed so many great friendships. I also really loved the opportunities it gave me to graduate with my associates of science degree at the same time as my high school diploma. Oasis academy had a program with the community college where you would take college classes that counted as dual enrollment. I took advantage of this and although it was challenging I am now a step ahead and learned so many valuable things. I am so glad I went to oasis academy.
