OakTree Academy Reviews
Rating 3 out of 5 5 reviews
My child was bullied and the teachers and administration ignored matters repeatedly. Sick organization.
The opportunities within the school are very limited given its size. The staff members are very friendly and help the students to the best of their abilities.
OakTree is great for small class sizes and hands-on learning. Teachers care about their students and the kids and teens there are welcoming (albeit a little crazy cause most of them have been together for years, as the school is K4-12). The faculty is very accommodating, especially for disabled people (there are a lot of injuries that result in crutch users). They have soccer and swim teams, and they are branching out to include Volleyball and basketball. It is a very good place for a kid to grow up, even better if you are looking for a Christian environment. Among many private schools in the Virginia area, OakTree is one of the cheaper schools, but that does not mean the education is any less.
Extremely closed minded even for the Christian standard. They use their religion for force and ignore the "love the sinner not the sin" rule of God.
i loved oaktree academy, it was small and very different than what i was used to in public school but everyone there is are very supportive and by the time i graduated it really felt like part of the family there.
