The whole student body atmosphere is quite spirited and the environment is very supportive of students. Whenever a student is seen struggling teacher's do notice and will always reach out to provide extra help and guidance. As well as, the counselors they do a tremendous job of keeping tabs on students. They don't seem to hesitate to call up a student to their office when they seem to be struggling in classes. Also, Oakmont has three full programs that other schools don't have such as IB, AP, and a Health Academy Program. I am currently in their Health Academy program and it's amazing! I have so much hospital experience that I feel prepared when I enter into a nursing program in college!

My experience at Oakmont has been very good so far. I didn’t know a whole lot of people there at first, but I made friends and the teachers were welcoming. Academics have been great, and I haven’t been involved in sports much, but my experience thus far has been good as well. The teachers will help you when needed, and this makes me excited for what’s to come! I can’t wait to see what the rest of high school has in store for me.
I personally loved Oakmont High School! It was a safe environment for students, the teachers truly cared about their student’s performance and quality of work in class and there were a variety of extracurricular activities to be a part of. Another thing I loved about Oakmont High School is the diversity of students. Everyone seemed to get along with everyone, no matter their skin color or size or ethnicity.
