All in all, Unity was able to prepare me and many of my classmates for college. Because of the school size, I was able to make close relations with my teachers and staff--making the overall experience more personal. Though, I wish that there were more AP classes available
I received a great education while I was there and had a great experience socially. A lot of my friends that I had, I already knew from Junior High School but I also made many new friends whom I am still connected to today. The class mainly responsible for this new social circle was Dance. I was able to learn Diversity in a different way that did not require the use of a textbook. I learned about people's struggles and how they were used through dance as a form of expression and healing. It's through this class that I fell more in love with the Performing Arts. I came into the class only knowing how to sing and dance in a church setting but when I graduated, I could honestly say that I was a dancer.
