All students and alumni have very different opinions about Oakdale High School. Though it is a very small school, students are allowed to participate in many extra curricular activities. There is a wide variety of clubs and a few sports. The school does include many honor students, and provide dual enrollment and honors classes; which help prepare students for college. Like any other school, Oakdale High has it's flaws; there are always the bad apples in certain classes, and there is a lack of trying to better the school. Some students even complain about segregation or privilege, but this is a topic in the school that many administrators refuse to address honestly.

Teachers are super involved with students and make it clear that they want nothing but for us to succeed. School faculty strives to get student involvement in activities such as pep rallies, sports, clubs and leadership positions. Our school is well ran, disciplined and kept to the best of standards. Currently, our overall performance is rated at a 106.1 A, which is a huge accomplishment for everyone in our school and community. My past four years at Oakdale High School have been some of my best, and I know I'll soon be able to be a proud alumni.
Making friends and having fun was the best part. Every now and then you’ll get some great teachers, but honestly there are a lot of terrible teachers there. So, what i’d like to see change is better teachers that actually want to teach instead of giving us paperwork to do over and over.
